Kampala - Entebbe Expressway
Hima Cement was the sole cement supplier for the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway, a project undertaken by CCCC back in 2013. The total length of the expressway is approximately 51 kilometers (about 32 miles). It has a four-lane dual carriageway with multiple interchanges, bridges, and toll stations.
The Project was designed to enhance transportation between Uganda’s capital city Kampala and Entebbe, where the country’s primary international airport, Entebbe International Airport, is located.
The expressway was constructed by the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), known for its expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects.
